Where each one wins

The case for moving from Linktree

Linktree is the better list of links. Artistplus is the better answer to someone searching your name, which is the thing that decides bookings and press.

  • Linktree: linktr.ee/yourname, on every plan

    The address

Artistplus: A domain you own, DNS and SSL handled

  • Linktree: Links you paste, one at a time

    Your releases

Artistplus: Imported from Spotify and SoundCloud, then synced

  • Linktree: No press kit

    Press

Artistplus: One that rebuilds itself, on one short link

  • Linktree: Digital products and an affiliate shop, no seller fees on Premium

    Selling

Artistplus: No store. Invoicing only, with no commission

  • Linktree: Post scheduling and Instagram auto-replies on Premium

    Social tools

    Artistplus: Not something we do

Read from

01

The address is the difference

Every Linktree lives at linktr.ee/yourname, and their help center is direct about it: no custom domain, no forwarding. That is fine for a link page and bad for the address on your poster.

  • Search a domain, buy it, and connect it without leaving the dashboard
  • DNS and SSL handled for you, on your domain and the free one
  • Add booking@ and press@ addresses that land where you already read mail
/domains
The Domains page: the artist’s free Artistplus subdomain listed as active, with a panel below it to connect, buy or transfer a custom domain.
02

Your music arrives instead of being pasted

Every release on a link page is a link you paste, and the day you stop pasting the page goes stale. Artistplus connects to Spotify or SoundCloud once, imports your releases with artwork, and keeps syncing.

  • Connect once, and the discography imports itself
  • A nightly sync picks up what you release after that
/catalog
The My Music catalog: release, live-on-site and lifetime-play counts above a grid of imported releases with their cover art.
03

The thing a link page cannot do at all

When a promoter asks for your press kit, a list of links is not an answer. Artistplus builds one from your top songs, latest photos and site design, and keeps it current.

  • One epk.plus link that always resolves to the current version
  • See who opened it and when, with per-recipient links

Moving over

Moving over takes one paste

Nothing to export, nothing to rebuild. Your music is already on Spotify or SoundCloud, and that is what Artistplus reads.

  1. Paste your Spotify or SoundCloud link

Onboarding reads your releases, artwork and bio, then builds the pages. A real site in minutes, not a blank template.

  2. Check it and make it yours

Edit any section, pick a palette and fonts, and add the photos and shows the import could not know about.

  3. Publish, then move the bio link

Go live on a free address or your own domain, then point your bio at it when you are happy.

Nothing here is one-way. Plenty of artists keep the link page and point it at their site instead of at eleven other places.

FAQ

Linktree questions, answered

Can I use my own domain with Linktree?

No. Their help center says there is no option to replace the linktr.ee URL and no domain forwarding. Artistplus paid plans connect a domain you own or buy one for you, and handle DNS and SSL.

Do I have to delete my Linktree to use Artistplus?

No. Keep it live while you build, then change the one link in your bio. Some artists keep both and point the link page at their website.

Is Artistplus harder to set up than a link page?

Setup is one paste. Give it a Spotify or SoundCloud link and it builds the pages from your catalog, so the first version exists before you edit anything.

Can I sell things on Artistplus like I can on Linktree?

Not yet. Linktree sells digital products and runs an affiliate shop, with no seller fees on Premium. Artistplus has no store. We do invoice, on every plan and with no commission, which covers bookings, sessions and teaching.

What does Artistplus cost compared with Linktree?

Both have a free plan. Linktree starts at $6 a month billed annually and tops out at $30. Artistplus is $45 a month, or $36 billed annually, for a custom domain, unlimited pages, storage, invoicing and press kits.

Will my links still work?

Yes. Your streaming links and socials all sit on your Artistplus site, and the streaming ones arrive with your catalog.
